NETFLIX AND UBISOFT TEAM UP FOR LIVE ACTION SERIES ADAPTATION OF ASSASSIN’S CREED

Netflix today announced it has entered into an agreement with Ubisoft to develop content based on the international best-selling video game franchise Assassin's Creed. The first series in development is slated to be an epic, genre-bending live action adaptation; a search is currently underway for a showrunner. Ubisoft Film & Television's Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik will serve as Executive Producers.

Under the agreement, Netflix and Ubisoft will tap into the iconic video game's trove of dynamic stories with global mass appeal for adaptations of live action, animated, and anime series.

REVIEW: Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice on PC Steam (Out Now)

It feels like only yesterday that I was reviewing Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry on XBOX ONE, but that was actually last month. Well before I knew it I got offered the chance to review the sequel that is out now on PC (Steam) Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice.

Before I start I will assume you have played Leisure Suit Larry games before, either back in the day (30 years ago) or the more recent incarnations. If not, this is a point and click adventure, you have to solve puzzles, question people, travel around, and all the while enjoy the adult humour of a classic franchise.

Now considering I enjoyed the first game on Xbox, and now I am playing on PC I can comment on which style of play I prefer, console with a controller or mouse and keyboard, and I can happily announce that it is better with a mouse. Sorry console gamers, but point and click games just work better with a mouse and keyboard.

ITV announces new Yorkshire Ripper drama

Following the phenomenal ratings success and critical acclaim of Des and White House Farm, ITV's Head of Drama Polly Hill has commissioned The Yorkshire Ripper  from the same producers, award winning independent production company, New Pictures in association with all3media international.

Interview with Matt Harris - Director of Rom Boys: 40 Years of Rad

Matt Harris is a UK based director of photography and creative director based just outside London in the UK. He is the director and cinematographer of the new upcoming documentary "Rom Boys: 40 Years of Rad", released by 1091 Pictures in October and which recently won best feature documentary at the 2020 Paris Surf and Skate Film Festival. Rom Boys is the first feature length documentary to look at the early skate and BMX scene in London. Now married with two children (and three Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Matt began his visual image making career in the early 90's whilst living in the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean and the Marshall Islands in the Pacific shooting underwater stills and video of big wildlife and WWII shipwrecks. Now he runs a digital marketing and production agency but also shoots and directs anything from documentary to branded content, commercial and music videos for various production houses and brands around the globe. His first feature length film, Rom Boys: 40 years of Rad follows the story of the world's only historically recognised skatepark and the eclectic group of skaters and riders who have kept it thriving for the past forty years. Following a devastating fire the story then highlights the struggle a dogged group of old school skaters, BMX riders and street artists undertake as they team together to fight to keep the park open. Hollyoaks Broadcasts First Ever Episode on E4

To mark Hollyoaks' 25th Birthday, the first ever episode will be broadcast as part of the Friday Favourites series on E4.

Featuring a youthful Nick Pickard (Tony), Will Mellor (Jambo) and Jeremy Edwards (Kurt), the episode was first broadcast in 1995, with a main cast of just seven artistes and written by show creator, Phil Redmond.

A car explosion and police chase set the tone for the life, but brighter soap, which has gone on to win countless awards over the years, including numerous Best Soap and Continuing Drama awards and an Outstanding Achievement award for longest serving cast member, Nick Pickard.

Ant & Dec star in a brand new trailer for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! This year’s series will come from stunning Gwrych Castle in North Wales rather than its usual New South Wales location.

However, it seems that neither Ant or Dec are aware of the show’s change of location.

“Ah it’s great to be back Down Under.” says Ant as he steps out of a black cab and becomes immediately acquainted with the countryside. “I would hate to see the kangaroo who left that.

“Wow that was quick.” says Dec as he pulls off an eye mask. “I must have slept through the whole flight.”

“Don’t spend it all at once” says Ant as he pays the cabbie – in ‘dingo dollars’.

Dec consults an I’m A Celebrity map of Australia. “This place looks nothing like my map” he says.

“How many more times. Australia is upside down” says Ant exasperated as he turns the map the wrong way up.

“Of course, it is. I’m such an idiot. Isn’t that right Mr Kangaroo” says Dec - as the show hosts walk past a signpost towards ‘The Castle’ and the camera pans across the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The promo was filmed on location in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Brand new coach on The Voice UK 2021

ITV today announced a brand new Coach will join The Voice UK for Series 10, which will air on the channel in 2021.

Award-winning global star Anne-Marie will take her seat in the most iconic chairs on television. Anne-Marie has become one of Britain's most-loved and successful stars since the release of her 2018 debut album, Speak Your Mind, which saw her become the biggest-selling debut artist of that year. Following a slew of track drops this year – most recently, her Rudimental and Tion Wayne collaboration 'Come Over' – the 9 x BRIT Award nominee is currently working on her second studio album.

Anne-Marie said: "I am SO excited to join Sir Tom, will.i.am and Olly as the new coach on The Voice UK. I can't wait to work with incredible undiscovered talent! Wahoooooo!"

Anne-Marie will join Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Olly Murs in the search to find the next singing sensation, with the lucky winner securing a recording contract with Universal's label UMOD. Emma Willis returns to host the show.

Love Island Germany returns this Spring

German viewers don't have to wait another full year for the next Love Island season. Following its success of the recent 4th series, RTLZWEI has confirmed they will bring a new season of the highly popular reality dating show this Spring. The 4th series of Love Island - Heisse Flirts & wahre Liebe has just wrapped up a fantastic season, scoring well ahead of the broadcaster's slot for commercial adult (14-49) share every week and nearly tripled the slot share for young adults (14-29). The 5th season will air in Spring 2021 on RTLZWEI and will be produced by ITV Studios Germany.

Joining Jonathan on his opening show are hilarious comedian and actress Katherine Ryan, one of the nation's best-loved broadcasters Clare Balding, and the stars of the hotly anticipated horror comedy series Truth Seekers - Nick Frost and Samson Kayo.

Plus, the legendary worldwide chart-topping singer Billy Ocean will be chatting and performing some of his greatest hits in the studio.

Hollyoaks does Celebrity Come Dine With Me

The specials will be aired across the week from 19th October at 7.30pm

To celebrate 25 years of Hollyoaks, five past and present cast members will take it in turns to throw a three-course dinner party that none of them will ever forget. But this is no ordinary supper - as the guests are secretly scoring the host and at the end of the week the top-scoring host wins £1000 for charity.

Brushing up on their dinner party skills are Gary Lucy, Ruby O'Donnell, Rishi Nair, Jorgie Porter and Jeremy Edwards. They'll be dusting off the tableware and cooking up three delicious courses whilst hosting memorable dinner party entertainment in the hope of scooping the charity cash.

Stripped across the week at 7.30pm on E4 from the 19th October, we'll see Gary (Hollyoaks' Luke Morgan) wing his way through an American Diner inspired party, whilst Jorgie  - who has recently re-joined the Hollyoaks cast as Theresa McQueen - will transport us back to the 90s for her Hip-Hop night, serving sass and her posh version of beans on toast. Ruby (Hollyoaks' Peri Lomax) will jet us off to Ireland for the traditional Irish pub experience and Rishi (who plays Sami Maalik) will dish up drama and dinner on the set of Hollyoaks. On the final night, it will be hosted by the man who started it all   – Jeremy Edwards who played original Hollyoaks heartthrob Kurt Benson and is set to return to the soap this month. He'll be rounding off the week with his 25th Anniversary celebration.

Antrum (The Deadliest Film Ever Made) - Trailer

Antrum, a feature film from the late 1970's, is said to be cursed. In 1988, a movie theatre in Budapest that was screening the film burnt to the ground, killing the 56 people in attendance. Filming begins on the 22nd series of Midsomer Murders

A spate of bizarre deaths will occur across middle England as filming begins on a new series of the much-loved ITV detective drama Midsomer Murders.

Neil Dudgeon returns to play DCI John Barnaby for his 10th year in the role, Nick Hendrix is back as DS Jamie Winter and Annette Badland resumes her role as pathologist Dr Fleur Perkins. Midsomer Murders is made by Bentley Productions, part of ALL3Media and is the UK's top-rated drama export.

Also returning to film the 22nd series is Fiona Dolman as Sarah Barnaby followed closely by Paddy the dog as the Barnaby's faithful canine companion. Guest cast for the first film includes Amanda Abbington (Sherlock), Mark Williams (Father Brown) and Maimie McCoy (Van Der Valk). Further guest casting to be announced.

This series follows Barnaby and Winter as they investigate an urban myth becoming a murderous reality, a post-operative heart rehabilitation club whose members' dreams of a second chance at life are cut short, a murder mystery weekend, a twisted scarecrow festival and an amateur dramatics company with deadly secrets.
