Bruce Willis & Jesse Metcalfe star in new action-thriller 'Hard Kill' coming to Digital Download 14th September

The film follows a team of fearless mercenaries, who led by security expert Derek Miller (Jesse Metcalfe), are considered the best fighters on Earth that money can buy. They are strategically hired by billionaire tech CEO Donovan Chalmers (Bruce Willis) to protect a piece of technology that, if exposed, could destroy the world.

Their mission becomes even higher risk when Chalmers' daughter is kidnapped by the extremely dangerous terrorist group The Pardoners, who will stop at nothing to obtain the tech. Miller and his team must now work together with Chalmers in order to save his family and protect the fate of the human race before it's too late.

I was kindly sent a copy of Aircraft Evolution by the fine people at Sometimes You‬.

Aircraft Evolution is a retro style side scrolling shooter, something that reminded me instantly of the 1980s classic Silkworm which some of you older gamers reading this would have played on the Amiga.

In this game your main task is to destroy enemy bases, tanks and soldiers from a variety of places that you unlock as you progress through the levels.

There are 4 time periods you play in, from the past going through to the future, so you start off with a wooden plane and eventually you can end up with a futuristic shooter.

There are the typical kinds of upgrades you can make to your plane, weapons, fuel, speed and so on.
40 Missions await you and there is plenty there to keep you busy for a while.

Channel 4 commissions Damilola: The Boy Next Door

To mark the 20th anniversary of Damilola Taylor’s violent murder on the North Peckham Estate, Channel 4 has commissioned 1x60 mins  documentary from Acme Films.  This poignant and reflective film will be presented by Yinka Bokinni DJ, radio presenter, writer and former resident of the estate and childhood friend of Damilola.

The horrendous and lonely death of ten-year-old Damilola Taylor in the dank stairwell of an estate in Peckham in November 2000 stunned the nation. It seemed to encapsulate a nation mired in moral crisis and a society that was fundamentally broken.

In the aftermath of Damilola’s death, the estate was demolished and the families dispersed. Now, twenty years on, Yinka Bokinni explores the devastating impact Damilola’s death had on her community, her area, and the lives of almost everyone she knew, confronting for the first time the impact of a tragic event which the children from the area have never felt able to discuss.
