Deliver Us The Moon Rockets Toward PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Powered by Unreal® Engine 4, Deliver Us The Moon is set in an apocalyptic near-future where the Earth’s resources have been depleted and humanity looks to the stars. Nations band together to create the World Space Agency - an organisation tasked with solving the extreme energy crisis. The solution: colonization and exploitation of the moon’s natural reserves of Helium-3 to serve the energy needs of a growing Earth population. Suddenly, and without warning, communications with the Moon cease, and the energy source is lost. Plunged into darkness and without power, years pass as world governments come together once more to embark on a new mission - to re-establish the energy supply and with it hope for the human race.

Released in October 2019, Deliver Us The Moon has been highly praised by both critics and fans alike. In December 2019, the game was upgraded to support real-time ray tracing making it one of the first independent titles to utilise the technology alongside the latest version of Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology. The resultant upgrade delivered one of the most graphically immersive worlds ever seen from an independent studio.

Interview with Tyler Cornack

Ahead of the UK premiere of BUTT BOY at Arrow Video FrightFest Glasgow 2020, director Tyler Cornack reflects on Fincher-esque cat & mouse games, creating a ‘colon cave’ and taking anal retention to a whole new level…

Is it true that BUTT BOY started life as a sketch on your Tiny Cinema comedy channel?

Yes, it started out as a very simple sketch about a man who goes to the doctor to get a prostate exam, and begins to get addicted to the feeling. It was always one of our favorite sketches because we found an interesting horror-esque tone. We also realized eluding objects with just a blank stare is just a joke where the punchline can grow through visuals. The first twelve minutes of the film is a very similar rhythm and tone to the original sketch.

Vivarium - New Poster and Trailer

Following rave reviews at the BFI London Film Festival (2019), sci-fi thriller VIVARIUM will be released in UK and Irish cinemas and on digital on 27th March 2020 courtesy of Vertigo Releasing and Wildcard Distribution. It will also open the Virgin Media International Dublin Film Festival on the 26th February, and will be shown at the Glasgow Film Festival on the 27th and 28th February.  The film stars The Social Network’s Jesse Eisenberg and Green Room’s Imogen Poots, and is from the producers of cult hits Mandy and The Void.

During their search for the perfect home, Gemma (Poots) and Tom (Eisenberg) find themselves trapped in a mysterious labyrinth-like suburban neighbourhood named Yonder. All attempts to escape end in failure, culminating in the discovery of a baby on the pavement outside house number 9 with the instructions ‘raise the child and be released’. Reminiscent of the likes of Get Out and TV’s Black Mirror, VIVARIUM is as thrillingly provocative as it is wickedly enjoyable and takes you on a trip into an unforgettable suburban Twilight Zone.

The film introduces Conrad Khan (Black Mirror) who, in his first lead film role, gives a compelling performance as unhappy teenager Tyler. Ashley Madekwe (Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Revenge) stars as Tyler’s mother Toni, and rising star Harris Dickinson (Beach Rats, Postcards from London, The King’s Man) plays Simon, a ruthless county lines operator. ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ Rings Up Record Domestic Videogame Pic Debut Of $57M & 4-Day $68M; Global Launch At $100M

After a string of pricey duds with Gemini Man, Terminator: Dark Fate, and Rhythm Section, Paramount gets back on track with its net $87M production of Sonic the Hedgehog. This film’s 4-day projections have continually boomed over the weekend, from $55M+ on midday Friday, to $64M+ yesterday morning, to around $68M per Paramount this AM (that’s also where the industry average is; some even believe the blue critter can run up to $70M+).

After a strong $20.6M Saturday, a 2% dip from Friday’s $21M,, the film has a 3-day of $57M, Sonic the Hedgehog has feasibly beat the 3-day start of Legendary/Warner Bros.’ Pokemon: Detective Pikachu ($54.3M) to become the best opening for a video game feature adaptation of all-time. On a 4-day basis, Sonic is also faster than Detective Pikachu, which earned $58M over a non-holiday period last May.

Review - Vasilis on Xbox One - By Jon Donnis

I was kindly sent Vasilis on Xbox for review, and as always I will give my honest opinions.

First of all I have never seen a game visually quite like this, I am sure there has been one or two before, but for me it was a first, the whole game is hand drawn in black and white, Vasilis the main character is a woman who has lost her husband Peter, and she starts off looking for him.

The game is set in a city that is under riots, and rebellions, people being killed, buildings set on fire. The city is being run by workers and students and it is your job as Vasilis to navigate this to find clues about your husband, and eventually bring him back to life. Yes I know without wanting to spoil too much, people have built towers that bring people back to life.

Harrison Ford Says Indiana Jones 5 Resolves Part Of Indy's History

For over three years, Indiana Jones 5 has been in and out of development. The script has been passed back and forth between a slew of writers, but finally its filming schedule is on track. According to Harrison Ford himself, he’ll grab his hat and whip and get back to work to continue to play his iconic role just a few months from now. And he’s also teasing Indy’s next adventure. Here’s what Ford said:

"Well, I’m not going to share the story with you because that doesn’t seem like a good idea. But we’ll see new developments in his life, his relationship. We’ll see part of his history resolved."

Very coy. Harrison Ford isn’t one to spill the beans and he’s not doing it this time around for Indiana Jones 5 either. He doesn’t want to spoil the story, but he does drop a couple hints here. The 77-year-old Star Wars actor mentions development in his “relationship” and references some part of his past being resolved.

Revisiting Nicolas Cage’s First Brush With Horror in ‘Vampire’s Kiss’

Nicolas Cage is in the midst of a sort of horror renaissance. Not that the prolific actor ever strayed far from any particular genre, churning out multiple films a year that run the gamut, but it’s in horror that he’s received praise and reappraisal thanks to films like Mandy and Color Out of Space.

With recent announcements of Wally’s Wonderland, where he’ll take on demonic animatronics, his work in horror doesn’t appear to be slowing down. For all of the grandeur performances the actor has delivered in his career, his turn as Peter Loew in Vampire’s Kiss doesn’t get near as much consideration as it should. If you were to meet somewhere at the intersection of American Psycho and Martin, you’d likely find this cult gem.

‘The Batman’ Will Reportedly Explore The Dark Knight’s Second Year At Work

Details of Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” keep on coming as production continues and we get closer to the release date of the DC film. After giving fans a peek at Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit via a camera test video, some more information about the film has been revealed, which tells us that this will not be yet another “Year One” scenario for Batman, but instead a Year Two.

“The Batman” will take place during Bruce Wayne’s second year as The Dark Knight of Gotham City. We’ve known for a while that Matt Reeves didn’t want to do an origin story, but we didn’t know the precise timeline before. Being that Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins” was heavily inspired by Frank Miller’s “Year One” it is a good sign that we’re avoiding a repeat of this… by moving the story a year forward in time. This would mean that Batman already has some of his iconography, like the suit, the car, and has already fought most of his rogues’ gallery, but he still isn’t a seasoned crime fighter who hates everyone and everything like dear old Batfleck.

Launch Government inquiry into the British press following death of Caroline Flack

This campaign is calling on our Government to launch an inquiry into the British press and their practices following the maltreatment of those in the public eye including; Caroline Flack, Harry and Meghan Markle, to name a few. The headlines, harassment and trial by media has to end and they must be held accountable.

In 2011, the Government launched a public inquiry into the culture, practices and ethics of the British press following the News International phone hacking scandal, chaired by Lord Justice Leveson.

Almost a decade later and we are still seeing similar issues in the press. We are campaigning for an inquiry into the practices and policies of mainstream media organisations and social media platforms in their efforts to protect members of the public from harm.

If we, the public, show there is demand then our politicians and government will be compelled to act.

Tilda Swinton, Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz & More Reportedly Join Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio’

Guillermo del Toro might be knee-deep into production on his upcoming film, “Nightmare Alley,” his first since winning the Oscar for “The Shape of Water,” but that film isn’t the only project the filmmaker has been working on lately. In addition to the live-action “Nightmare Alley,” del Toro is also on board to direct a stop-motion animation version of “Pinocchio” for Netflix. And according to a new interview at a recent Comic-Con in Vienna, we now know who might be providing some voices for that film.

According to the Polish outlet Na Ekranie, actor David Bradley reveals that he will voice the character of Geppetto in the upcoming “Pinocchio” from Guillermo del Toro. In addition, Bradley, who is probably best known for playing Walder Frey in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” reveals that he’ll be joined in the voice cast by the likes of Ron Perlman, Christoph Waltz, Tilda Swinton, and Ewan McGregor in the film. Unfortunately, we’re not sure which role each actor will voice.

Lucifer Twist: Netflix Wants to Keep the Show Going Beyond 'Final' Season 5

Netflix is in talks with Warner Bros. Television to extend the hellacious drama’s lifespan beyond the previously announced (and forthcoming) fifth and “final” season. Netflix and Warner Bros. have yet to comment on the Season 6 buzz.

After airing for three seasons on Fox, Lucifer was “rescued” by Netflix in June 2018, just weeks after its cancellation. At the time, titular star Tom Ellis called the backlash to the cancellation — and subsequent #SaveLucifer campaign — “nothing short of ridiculously overwhelming,” adding, “Since doing Lucifer, I’ve done press in various parts of the world, and I’m fully aware that this show is much more popular than what it had seemed to be on Fox… So I’m not surprised about people being angry. I just wasn’t ready this tsunami of love that came with it.”

A Doomcar Named Desire? Post-apocalyptic Driving Match-ups Open for Pre-registration This Valentine’s Day

The UK Govt.’s decision to bring forward the scrapping of petrol and diesel cars in 2032 may well be rendered irrelevant by the year 2057; when massive space vessels of unknown origin suddenly appear on earth and lay waste to our world with unrelenting and overwhelming force. While we can hardly blame Boris Johnson for such short-termism; we can definitely blame the faceless alien invaders who’ve left us battling for resources in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
