I’m always thrilled to hear that another one of my films will be playing on the UK’s Horror Channel! It’s crazy to think that the US hasn’t had a horror specific television channel in 6 years now, only horror themed subscription platforms like SHUDDER. Then again- look at the real life horror we’re dealing with here as far as our current President goes. Clearly our country has made far worse decisions than doing away with our horror television network.

When did you first become interested in writing?

In high school. I liked to write a lot which was a mix of loving books and putting pen to paper, as well as some good ol’ teen angst in the mix. There was some pretty terrible poetry involved that I hope never sees the light of day.


How did you get involved in fantasy/horror?

I’ve been into horror since I was a kid which was largely inspired by my dad. He would stay up watching late-night horror movies and I would sneak out to watch with him. Pretty sure I saw some pretty non-age appropriate things, but it fascinated rather than scared me. As I got older my tolerance and interest only grew.

As of the time of this interview, I am self-published and love it! When I decided to start writing with the intent to publish, I did a lot of research

Comedian and Seinfeld star Jerry Stiller has passed away at the age of 92.

His son, Ben Stiller, shared the news on Twitter, telling his followers his father had sadly passed away.

He wrote: ‘I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.’

Sky News announces release of eye-opening documentary The Plastic Nile

‘Yesterday’ Net Profit Statement Shows It’s The Same Old Song On Hollywood Accounting

When the Danny Boyle-directed fable Yesterday was released last June, it was viewed as a bright spot for counter-programming at a moment when Toy Story 4 owned the box office leading into Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The Universal/Working Title film, which grossed over $153.7M worldwide, did well enough to make it onto a list of Deadline’s 2019 outliers, smaller films with outsized profits, in our recent movie revenue tournament, estimated to earn $45M in net profit. It’s a different story, however, when it comes to collecting net points on films like these.

Deadline was slipped a net profit participant sheet on Yesterday, and according to that document, the Beatles-themed romance movie is still in the red by as much as $88 million.

REVIEW: Potata: Fairy Flower on Xbox One

I was a sent a review copy of Potata by the good people at Sometimes You.

Potato is a side-scrolling fantasy game, you play as the character Potata, a witch that wants to explore the world. This is an Indie title, but comes across as very mainstream, with its incredible graphics and fun game play.

The game can be quite challenging, but not so much so that it would put anyone off.
Each level has things to collect, and puzzles to solve. You start off by heading off to search for ingredients for her mothers soup, which is to help Potato's pet fox who is sick, and of course as you head off that is where you get yourself into trouble and the adventures begin.

R.I.P. Scrubs' Sam Lloyd

Sam Lloyd has died. Best known for his role as sad-sack lawyer/a capella enthusiast Ted Buckland on long-running NBC sitcom Scrubs, Lloyd was a veteran character actor with more than 60 credits to his name, across a 30-year career. Lloyd was diagnosed with cancer last year; numerous members of the Scrubs family organized a GoFundMe at the time to help pay his medical costs. Lloyd’s death was reported on social media today by co-star Robert Maschio, with his agent later confirming the news. Lloyd was 56.

Although he came up as a stage actor, Lloyd got his first break on the screen during the 1988 TV season, when he was cast in two different episodes—as two different characters—on NBC’s Night Court. He followed that with his first regular TV role, on the short-lived Valerie Harper sitcom City, but didn’t get his first real, high-profile exposure until 1993, when he had a memorable two-episode stint as TV Guide/Elaine Benes obsessive Ricky on the fifth season of Seinfeld.

Posing as junior park rangers by day, they operate as low-level drug couriers by night under the watchful eye of Frog’s proxies (John Malkovich and Vivica A. Fox).

Swin then settles into his day job by taking up a relationship with Johnna (Eden Brolin) against orders to blend in while Kyle continues to question his night job by trying to figure out who Frog really is.  Their world is then upended after one too many inept decisions, and Kyle, Swin, and Johnna find themselves directly in Frog’s crosshairs, who mistakenly sees them as a threat to his empire. Based on John Brandon’s best-selling book of the same name, ARKANSAS weaves together three decades of Deep South drug trafficking to explore the cycle of violence that turns young men into criminals, and old men into legends.
